EcoOwls, An Amazon Product Shoot

I have been working with this particular business owner for a while now. He always brings me interesting things to do product photography with. This is another one! EcoOwls ate solar powered, eco friendly, rodent repellants. They help keep your yard mole, squirrel, rodent, and snake free. They feature an 11 inch body, with a large solar panel on the top. When the product is charged and "on" it makes a slight humming noise and vibration that helps keep pests away. 

From a photography standpoint, this was an easy product for us to shoot. I like working with clients that let us take a little creative liberty (see the grass picture below). For some people, they have a hard time understanding how or what the product is and should be used. We find that a combination of illustrations and photographs works well when selling on Amazon or any online marketplace. Additionally, specific to product photography for Amazon, the images that work best for this type of product are clean in nature and follow Amazon's product photography guidelines of being a square image 3000x3000 pixels and on 255 white.
