Lip Gloss Lovers Look Here!

I love my lip gloss! Why? I love it because it is shiny and flavored and I made it myself!

I used to make this lip gloss with my daughters.  They had so much fun picking out the colors and flavors.  We would gather their friends and spend the afternoon making lip gloss and laughing.

Things you will need:

- Someone fun to enjoy the afternoon with.

- Coconut oil 

- Un-petroleum jelly 

(both can be purchased at Whole Food and other natural food stores)

- Crystal Light drink mix (they have lots of yummy flavors and colors) or Emergen –C is a more natural option for those who don’t want artificial sweeteners or color.

- Containers (I got my tin ones on Amazon, you can get bead containers at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby)

Step One; Put equal parts coconut oil and un-petroleum jelly in a microwavable bowl. 

Step Two:  Place bowl in microwave for 60 seconds or until mixture is melted.

Step Three:  Add flavored drink mix until desired color is achieved. Mix until dissolved.  

Step Four:  Pour into containers and let set up.

So get your girls together and have a great time bonding and making lip gloss!
