Have you ever looked at one of those amazing pictures of a newborn and thought, “How in the world did the photographer get that shot?” Well, it’s not easy. You definitely need to know some tricks of the trade. You have a short window of time, usually within four to ten days after birth, to get these wonderful newborn pictures. This is the precious time when all the little one wants to do is sleep! The two things to remember during an infant shoot is to first, make sure they have a full belly, and second, keep the room nice and warm! Hopefully this will keep the baby asleep long enough to get some fantastic newborn photos. Always keep in mind that you are working with a mother’s brand new pride and joy , so make sure that everyone in the room is comfortable and happy!
